Norwegian electropop duo Eva & The Heartmaker seem to have been gone from music for bloody ages, the absolute rotters. How quickly we forgive though. All it takes is some fresh new top quality music. And we got that this week when they premiered their brand new single ‘Told You’ on NRK Radio in their native Norway.
Dreamy synth pop that’s anchored by a chugging r&b beat which has been turned up quite pleasingly high into the mix. But of course it’s ALL about the chorus – a chorus that veritably takes flight. It’s gorgeous. And they know it too – an instrumental version of the chorus has been selected to form a luxurious extended outro, making the song end on an absolute high.
